Navendu Mishra joined a picket line in Stockport and Imran Hussain one in Bradford.

He said he was “proud to stand in solidarity” with CWU members.

Sir Keir had said Labour needs to be in power and “a government doesn’t go on picket lines”.

HOAR understands the three won’t be sacked as he tries to keep union paymasters onside.

He faced union threats to pull funding after sacking Sam Tarry as a shadow transport minister for backing rail strikers.

But the three ministers will be given a dressing down by whips.

One MP said: “I’ve got no b****y idea what’s going on.”
