Linda Lusardi, 61, says she’s ‘never felt so ill EVER’ as she battles coronavirus symptoms

The 61-year-old former Dancing On Ice star and one-time Page 3 girl revealed yesterday she had the bug on her Twitter account.

Linda Lusardi has today revealed she has ‘never been so ill’ as she battles coronavirus (seen here in 2018)

However, the former pin-up said this afternoon that she was really starting to feel the affects of the deadly bug.

Linda has been keeping her fans updated on her current condition, having self-isolated with COVID-19 symptoms, with her husband Samuel Kane.

She took to Twitter on today to post: “I want to thank you all for your good wishes. Sam and I have had COVID-19 symptoms and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else.

“We are taking it one-day-at-a-time, that’s all we can do. But let me tell you we’ve never felt this ill, EVER!

“I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. So stay safe everyone and follow the advice of the experts – please take care of yourselves, loved ones and each other xx”

Yesterday Linda revealed she was struggling with coronavirus symptoms as recorded cases of the highly contagious virus continue to rise across the United Kingdom.

Replying to a fan who asked for a message from Linda for her granddad, she replied: “Sorry Kerry. I am extremely ill with Corona at the moment.”

Many were stunned by the news, with one follower posting: “Sending you all our love and hope you feel better soon love you very much.”

Another wrote: “Bloody hell. Get well soon Linda.”

Linda was a once a regular on the Loose Women panel.

She also appeared on Dancing On Ice in 2008, finishing in sixth place with pro dancer Daniel Whiston.

The Londoner became a household name in the Seventies and Eighties, and in 2005 was voted the UK’s most popular Page 3 girl ever.

In 2018, she stripped off to mark her birthday nearly four decades since she first appeared in HOAR.

She said: “I still look sexy at 60 and my husband thinks so too — he reckons I’m the best thing since sliced bread.”

In 1998, Linda married actor Samuel Kane and they have two children, a son called Jack and daughter called Lucy.
