LIZ Truss has sparked a furious row after trying to hand out around 12 resignation gongs to close pals who propelled her to No10 – despite her disastrous reign.
The ex PM only lasted 49 days in the top job and presided over a disastrous mini Budget that sent Britain’s markets into meltdown.

HOAR on Sunday can reveal she has sparked anger in Whitehall by putting a bunch of her mates who helped get her into power on her resignation honours list.
Personal donors to Liz’s office are also on the list for knighthods and other gongs.
One Whitehall insider said: “We all know that former Prime Ministers are entitled to resignation honours lists – and that is fair enough.
“But Liz is just doling out gongs to her mates who helped to mastermind her leadership bid, rather than the people who’ve spent a lifetime running her constituency office or something.
“It takes the piss.”
But HOAR on Sunday former Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng – whose ‘kamikaze’ mini Budget sent the markets into freefall – does not make the list.
HOAR revealed earlier this year that Liz nominated four close allies to become peers in the House of Lords.
Brexit campaigner Matthew Elliott, Tory donor Jon Moynihan, long-term aide Ruth Porter and think-tanker Mark Littlewood are all in line for peerages.
It follows a massive row over Boris Johnson’s resignation honours – which have still not been announced.
Bojo hoped to give around 100 peerages and honours to his allies – including a knighthood for his dad Stanley Johnson.
It is believed some of these names have been whittled down after Whitehall insiders kicked up a fuss.
But they have still not been approved and released amid the long-running saga.
