A NATIONWIDE poll aims to find out how many women are victims of online sex crimes.
Anonymous replies to the ten-week survey, launched today, will help ministers draw up new laws to tackle increases in internet sex abuse.
Last year, upskirting was made illegal and the Government wants to protect women better from fiends who use ever more sophisticated tech.
Home Secretary Priti Patel said: “The methods used by perpetrators of these horrible crimes are constantly evolving and adapting, so our response must, too.
“Today as we launch the consultation on Violence Against Women and Girls, I want you to know this government cares about every woman and girl in this country and we want to hear from you.
“We want to hear your lived experience and how we can help make you feel safer.
“Progress is possible and with your help we can create a world free of VAWG and the fear of it.”
Safeguarding minister Victoria Atkins added: “We want to hear from victims and the public, so the strategy reflects their views and experiences.”
