PREGNANT Carrie Symonds is avoiding all visitors as she lives above Boris Johnson’s coronavirus ‘war rooms’ in Westminster.
Ms Symonds, 32, cancelled her birthday party because of the virus and is now spending most of her time in the grace-and-favour flat above No.11 Downing Street.
She is only going out to walk her dog Dylan in nearby St James’s Park, but managed to get out to Chequers this weekend with boyfriend Mr Johnson for a few hours of downtime, the Mail on Sunday reports.
The mum-to-be is believed have followed the PM’s plea to the public and used FaceTime to contact her own mother, aged over 70, today.
Mr Johnson is also thought to have done the same.
The PM has also had to sacrifice some of his home comforts as the coronavirus chaos grips the nation.
Boris has turned to a vegan diet to give him the extra energy to get through 20-hour days as he fights the crisis.
He has ditched his beloved chorizo, cheese and red wine – instead opting for plant-based dishes delivered to his flat at No10.

A legion of the PM’s trusted staff are also working around the clock with many forced to sleep on mattresses in the offices of Downing Street or on sofas by their desks.
To feed the army of aides and junior staff it is said that No10 has “single handedly kept SW1’s restaurants in business” with constant takeaway orders of pizza and Nandos chicken.
Today Britain’s coronavirus death toll rose to 244 – after new victims were reported in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Cases for the UK have soared to 5,132, according to the latest figures released by the Department of Health on Saturday.
An insider at No10’s war rooms described Britain’s coronavirus battles as a “a race against time”.
The source said: “The health horror is still ahead of us, but the economic horror was now.
“I can’t imagine what it would have been like if the No10 and No11 teams were not anchored together in last week’s scenario.
“The fiscal packages were so radical it would have been impossible if one element was not pulling in the same direction.”
