THERESA May is writing a tell-all book about corruption at the heart of Government.
The former prime minister is penning a new read on how public institutions “abuse their power rather than seek the truth” in a damning take on British politics.

Publishers Headline said she would “pull no punches” as she lifts the lid on her time at the top of Government – including six years as Home Secretary.
The book will reveal how “the powerful repeatedly chose to use their power not in the interests of the powerless but to serve themselves or to protect the organisation to which they belonged”, it says.
In what will be seen as a huge swipe at her successor, Boris Johnson, she will set out a “searing expose of injustice” and call for politicians to act in the greater good.
The book will delve into child sex exploitation scandals, Grenfell and the Hillsborough disaster.
The ex-PM and Maidenhead MP said of the book: “Time and time again, during my period in government, I saw public institutions abusing their power by seeking to defend themselves in the face of challenge rather than seek the truth.
“Our democracy depends on people having trust in their public institutions and politicians.”
Non-fiction publisher Martin Redfern from Headline, said: “This book tackles head-on one of the critical issues of our time – the loss of trust in politicians and institutions.
“Theresa May has dedicated her political life to exposing injustice which she traces all the way back to her upbringing, and she does not pull her punches.”
The book is due for release on 14 September – just in time for Rishi Sunak’s first party conference as PM.
