A WANNABE Labour leader would give Jeremy Corbyn a top job because she loves him, HOAR on Sunday can reveal.

Rebecca Long Bailey has told supporters she will hand the failed leader a high-level brief if she is party boss.

Rebecca Long-Bailey has said she would give Jeremy Corbyn a high level role if she wins the Labour leadership battle

The shadow Business Secretary rates the outgoing Labour chief 10 out of 10 despite the partys dismal election result.

Asked if she will give him a government job if she is PM, she said: Id like to but I dont know whether he wants to do it because he said not.

She added: Its up to him. I love him so.

Long Bailey trailing behind bookies favourite Sir Keir Starmer was speaking in Lewisham, South East London, earlier this month.

She has been branded the continuity Corbyn candidate in the race that ends in April.

Up to fifty backbench Labour MPs have threatened to quit the party if Long-Bailey wins the leadership race.

Labour MP Neil Coyle said: Its quite incredible that when the country has given Jeremy Corbyn a mark of 0/10, she gives him 10/10 and would even offer him a job. This is fantasy politics at its worst.

Emily Thornberry has been elimiated from leadership race after failing to secure the necessary nominations.

Long-Bailey along with Sir Keir Starmer and Lisa Nandy will now go through to the online and postal ballot of members and registered supporters which opens on February 24.
