WHITE Van Men will overwhelmingly vote Tory tomorrow to get Brexit done, a survey has shown.

New research found 35 per cent will support the Conservatives, with just 29 per cent voting for Labour.

Boris Johnson is being backed by white van men.

Brexit appears to be the main issue for them, with 75 per cent saying they just to see Britain get out the EU.

Customer service group Vanarama found the drivers were swerving around voting for Jeremy Corbyn, with seven in 10 saying they wouldn’t be voting for Labour.

When asked why, the most common reasons were the leadership on 52 per cent, 46 percent cited their stance on Brexit and 32 per cent blamed their economic policies.

One in ten of the drivers are set to abandon Labour for the Tories too.
The news is a boost for the Tories who previously struggled to convince the van drivers to back them.

Just nine per cent said they would back Jo Swinson’s Liberal Democrats, with a further 16 per cent voting for other parties.

Seven per cent drove around the question, admitting they were undecided.

With around four million vans on Britains roads, this means that up to 280,000 van drivers could be yet to make up their mind.

When asked what would could influence their votes, van drivers made clear it was how much of their income they kept.

Two in five claimed that the party that proposed to reduce costs would get their vote.

The second most popular answer was a cut in taxes and business rates, swaying the decision of 30 per cent of van drivers.

Andy Alderson, founder and CEO of Vanarama said: Here at Vanarama we see our customers as the backbone of Britain.

They are a good bellwether for what the country is thinking and so were always interested to hear their views.

The overarching message this time is clear, they want to get Brexit done and get on with doing what they do best working hard and earning a living.
