Who is Suella Braverman’s husband Rael?

SUELLA Braverman is most certainly a formidable force.

She is a politician, barrister and is married to Rael Braverman.

Who is Suella Braverman?

Suella became home secretary on October 25, 2022 and is a member of the Conservate Party, chair of the European Research Group and attorney general for England and Wales. 

She became Member of Parliament for Fareham in 2015. 

Suella has recently been embroiled in controversy regarding an alleged speeding offence.

According to the allegation, Suella had asked civil servants to arrange private one-to-one courses on speed awareness despite being caught speeding herself.

Prime minister Rishi Sunak is reportedly consulting with his ethics advisor on the matter.

Who is Rael Braverman?

Rael Braverman is thought to have been born in April 1975 in the UK.

He works as a manager at Mercedes and is married to Tory MP Suella Braverman.

When did Suella and Rael Braverman get married?

Rael proposed to Suella in October 2017 while they were on holiday in Cyprus.

He said: “I had planned it all out in advance so was thinking about it the whole time we were out there.”

Rael and Suella married in February 2018 after three years of dating.

The couple got married at the House of Commons.

“Rael has just been so supportive of me in Fareham – I think the day I realised he was the one when he came out delivering leaflets for the election in the pouring rain,” said Suella at the time of the couple tying the knot.

According to Portsmouth News they followed their wedding with a celebration at a Holiday Inn in Titchfield, Hampshire.

More than 100 people attended their wedding meal including family, close friends and also people who they know from their jobs in politics.

The happy couple met through friends and Suella admitted that he is her biggest supporter.

He helped her during the Brexit campaign and also dropped leaflets during the 2017 general election.

Rael said: “We met through some mutual friends, and then she invited me for a day in parliament.

“As far as first dates go it was certainly an unusual one, but I’ve always been interested in politics so I went along with it.

“I thoroughly enjoyed it and we agreed to meet up again.

“We had our first ‘proper’ date a few weeks later and it all took off from there.”

Suella added: “Rael has just been so supportive of me in Fareham – I think the day I realised he was the one when he came out delivering leaflets for the election in the pouring rain.”

The couple live together in Locks Heath.

Do Suella and Rael Braverman have any children?

The happy couple have two children together.

Their first child, George, was born in 2019, a year after Suella and Rael tied the knot.

Then they had a baby girl, Gabriella, in 2021.

Braverman made headlines at the time as she was able to carry on her voting duties as an MP while on maternity leave.

The couple do not share photos of their personal and family lives.
