Did Prince William and Prince Harry appear in Star Wars?

It is the question many Star Wars fans have pondered and even tried to find answers for themselves.

Many different views have circulated online with fans of the franchise pointing out scenes where they think they appear.

When it comes to Stormtroopers it is very easy to point to ones who fit the build of the princes.

The truth is, both Prince Harry and Prince William did in fact appear in Star Wars.

It all came about from their visit to Pinewood Studios.

Which Star Wars movie was Prince William and Prince Harry in?

The princes appeared in scenes shot for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Amazingly, they were not the only famous faces that appeared in the scene as Hollywood film star Tom Hardy also appeared in the scene.

Prince William, Prince Harry and Tom Hardy all appeared in the film as Stormtroopers, an easy way to hide the identity of some famous faces that may out-dwarf the scene they are acting in.

Why did Prince William and Prince Harry not appear in the final cut of Star Wars: The Last Jedi?

Sadly for fans of the royal pair, the scene featuring them did not end up in the final cut of the film.

The reason for this was a matter of height.

Prince Harry is 6’1″ while his brother Prince William is 6’3″.

A source revealed “Stormtroopers have to be exactly 5ft 11in.

“At the time we shot it I think the feeling was that the scene would make the final movie.

“Everyone feels bad that William and Harry lost out on their big moment.

“However, the scene just didn’t work for the final cut so it was left out.”

So, in the end, the royal brothers actually cost Tom Hardy his place in the film.
