EASTENDERS spin-off show will see host Stacey Dooley catch up with the legendary landladies of the Queen Vic for a special episode.
EastEnders: Secrets From The Square will feature Letitia Dean, who plays ultimate Hun Sharon Watts, and Kellie Bright, who stars as the most recent owner, Linda Carter.
The BBC is set to broadcast a special episode of its EastEnders spin-off, which focuses on the programme’s female publicans.
During the show, hosted by Stacey Dooley, Letitia and Kellie will discuss the past queens of the Queen Vic, Angie Watts and Peggy Mitchell who both had famous stints behind the bar.
Stacey revealed: “We’re talking all things landladies. Letitia Dean and Kellie Bright together – they are just a scream, they are really good fun.
“I had the most brilliant afternoon with the pair of them.”
The cult BBC One soap is currently off air for the first time in 35 years after it ran out of episodes when production stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Fans were devastated when EastEnders went off air – especially as it ended with some whopping cliffhangers on June 16.
Filming of EastEnders resumed this week with social-distancing measures in place but when the soap returns, it will have a shorter running of 20 minutes.
