He was widely criticised for failing to show remorse for his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein or empathy for the paedo’s victims.

Andrew was sacked by the Queen was stripped of his royal duties and 249,000 sovereign grant last week.

In the latest blow for the Duke, the Golf Foundation today announced it was cutting ties with him.

In a statement it said: “The Board of Trustees of the Golf Foundation has taken the decision to end its association with HRH The Duke of York as Patron of the charity.”

It comes as military chiefs said they want Andrew to be stripped of honorary posts in the Armed Forces over the Epstein scandal.

The royal holds appointments including Colonel of the Grenadier Guards and Commodore-in-Chief of the Fleet Air Arm.

A source said he was under pressure to give up his military titles, adding: “It’s felt he doesn’t reflect the values and standards of the Armed Forces.”

Buckingham Palace said last night there was “no plan to resign his military appointments”.

Squirming Prince Andrew went into astonishing personal detail to deny accusations he had sex with a teen girl

Meanwhile former “sex slave” Virginia Roberts, who said she was forced to sleep with Andrew on three occasions, has told a documentary: “Only one of us is telling the truth.”

In a teaser for her BBC Panorama interview, Ms Roberts also describes her time with the duke’s paedo pal Epstein as “really scary”.

She told how she had sex with Andrew aged 17 in 2001 after they went to Tramp nightclub in London. She said they were introduced by Epstein’s girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

In his car-crash interview with Newsnight this month, Andrew denied ever meeting Virginia and claimed he was at a Pizza Express in Woking on the night he was said to have done so.

He also dismissed her claims he sweated heavily as they danced at the club saying an overdose of adrenaline during the Falklands War left him with a medical condition that meant he could not sweat.

But Ms Roberts, now 35, said: “He knows what happened, I know what happened and there’s only one of us telling the truth.”

The Panorama show was slated to run for 30 minutes, but has been extended to an hour from 9pm on Monday.

Epstein was found dead in his New York prison cell in August as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.

Ms Roberts initially made her claims against Andrew in court papers in Florida.

But they were struck from US civil court records in 2015 when a judge ruled them “immaterial and impertinent”.

Buckingham Palace branded the allegations “false and without any foundation” and said any suggestion of “impropriety with underage minors by the duke is categorically untrue”.
