GEMMA Collins had viewers in hysterics last night as she confessed she was in love with “Prince Chiles”.

The Queen of Memes’ reality TV show returned last night for its second series.

Gemma Collins got the future king’s name wrong

The 39-year-old was busy filming when the country went into lockdown – and was forced to fix cameras in her home to deliver Diva In Lockdown.

She entertained bored fans at home when she appeared to get the future king’s name wrong throughout the show.

At a red carpet event, Gemma said: “I’m in love with Prince Charles, I’m not even joking, he’s so handsome.

“I just would love to be, you know, one of their ambassadors.”

The reality TV star called Prince Charles, ‘Prince Chiles’

One viewer said: “I’ve heard Gemma Collins call Prince Charles, ‘Chiles’ that many times now that I’m worried that’s what I’ll be calling him from now on!”

Another added: “Honestly crying at Gemma Collins “I’ve always felt part of the Royal Family, it’s in my blood. Today is a very special day I’m going to meet prince Chiles….Charles….Charles?’”

A fan said: “This is the episode where Gemma meets Prince Chiles.”

Gemma admitted feeling like she was back on Big Brother and in a “whirlwind of emotions” as fixed cameras filmed around her home in lockdown.

The reality TV star said: “It’s bizarre. We’d planned the whole series and were meant to be going here, there and everywhere, but we just haven’t been able to do it.

Gemma Collins’ latest series of reality show has been filmed in lockdown

Fixed cameras have been set up in her home so the show can go on

“But as I always do, I wanted to make the best of every situation and I do believe we’ve been able to make a fantastic series.

“Like Marilyn Monroe was sent out to entertain the troops in the war times, I realised that the country may need the GC for entertainment and that’s what I want to give with this series.

“I’m a reality queen and I want people to see the realness. But I’m not gonna lie, putting the fixed cameras in my home was like being back on Big Brother again, but without a bunch of annoying people around me.”

The first episode was filmed before lockdown, but the next two episodes show how Gemma is coping with life in lockdown.
