He stays all day long as he showed when placing for the second time in the marathon Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot last month. He ran well again dropped back to two miles when second in a Sandown Listed contest last time. He goes on any ground and he can go better than last year’s close-up fourth.
PATH OF THUNDER (3.00 Goodwood, nb)
He was like greased lightning when running away with a hot handicap at Newmarket earlier this month. He travelled strongly and had lots left in the tank. A 3lb penalty gives him every chance of following up.
WINK OF AN EYE (5.20 Goodwood, treble)
Is improving with every run and took another big step forward when scoring at Sandown last time. The Queen’s runner should be happy over this extra furlong and goes on any ground.

1.50 The Grand Visir (NAP)
Stays forever, has a touch of class, fourth off this mark last year.
2.25 Baaeed
Well bred and made it three from three easily at HQ last time.
3.00 Path Of Thunder (nb)
Impressive at Newmarket and big chance under a penalty.
3.35 Battaash
Has won this for past four years, looked in need of run at Ascot.
4.10 Euchen Glen
In cracking for this season and good win at Sandown last time.
4.45 Adeb
Plenty in hand when winning at Beverley and makes hcap debut.
5.20 Wink Of An Eye (tbl)
Good win at Sandown and has more to offer.
BANGOR
1.00 Sinndarella
Has gone close on past two runs over hurdles.
1.35 Finisk River
Good effort behind subsequent winner at Perth latest.
2.10 Cesar Et Rosalie
Down weights and some promise last time out.
2.45 Ibbenburen
Good second on hurdles debut and doesn’t need much more.
3.20 Sir Tivo
In cracking form and this looks another good chance.
3.55 G’Day Aussie
Back from a long break with a solid third at Southwell.
4.25 Chosen Shant
Consistent and another good effort at Worcester latest.

Went close on debut for new yard and right there again.

Has run well on past two runs over this course and distance.

Showing promise so far and doesn’t need a lot more.

Plenty in hand when scoring over course and distance last time.

Easy Newcastle winner who can strike under a penalty.

Has shown best form over this course and distance.

Looked a nice prospect when winning at Chelmsford.
