MEGHAN Markle will NOT be doing any interviews any time soon after it was reported that the Duchess of Sussex was going to sit down with Ellen DeGeneres.
The daytime host had appeared to confirmshe would be interviewing Meghan Marklein her first interview since leaving the Royal Family.
New Royal sources told PEOPLEthat any plans for a sit-down interview between Ellen and Meghan were categorically untrue.”
The source also claimed Meghan will not be doing interviews with anyone in the near future.
Just yesterday, Ellen had alluded to interviewing the Duchess of Sussex after her move to Canada.
Thetalk show hostreplied, “Sure, I’m excited” when asked whether she was excited about interviewingMeghanin a tell-all interview.
It’s not clear whether Ellen was joking, and reps forThe Ellen Showhaven’t gotten back to HOAR about a possible sit-down between the two.
The Daily Mail reportedthat “Ellenand Meghan have already discussed a sit-down interview” and alleged it’s “been in the works for quite some time now.
Meghan, 38, and Ellen, 61, have been friendly for years and said they met years ago at aLos Angelesdog shelter, when Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi, strolled in looking for a dog.
Meghan previouslytold Best Health she was at the shelter, debating whether to get her dog, Bogart, when Ellen asked: Is that your dog?
I said, No, and she’s like, You have to take that dog, Meghan recalled. And I said, Well, Im deciding. And she’s like, Rescue the dog!

A source told the Daily Mail Meghan feels she and Ellen are like kindred spirits.

Ellen has also met baby Archie during her surprise visit with Prince Harry and Meghan.
She talked on her show about how she fed and cradled Archie, before joking that: He weighs 15 lbs., which is, the exchange rate, is 17 dollars here!
She also shared of Archie, who was born May 6, He looks like Harry and he had more hair than I did at the time.
