A clip of the touching moment shows his compassion for his wife and the depth of her emotion towards her dear departed grandmother.

She can be seen shedding tears as the couple made their way home from the committal service in Windsor.

As she weeps, her husband gently rubs her back before lovingly putting his arm around her.

The pair were accompanied by Beatrice’s mother Sarah, Duchess of York.

It comes as…

  • Her Majesty’s coffin has been lowered into the royal vault at St George’s chapel in Windsor.
  • The Queen’s coffin passed Buckingham Palace on its final journey as thousands of mourners lined the streets.
  • King Charles led his family in an outpouring of grief today at his mother’s funeral
  • Princess Kate paid a touching tribute, wearing Her Majesty’s pearl choker
  • Princess Charlotte cried after The Queen’s emotional funeral in a heartbreaking moment
  • Meghan Markle was teary-eyed as she watched the Queen’s coffin be placed into a hearse

Beatrice is the elder daughter of the Duchess of York and her husband Prince Andrew, the Queen’s third child.

The late monarch Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest in the Royal Vault in St George’s Chapel following her funeral service in Westminster Abbey this morning.

Her Majesty will remain in the vault temporarily until a private burial service this evening, attended by members of the Royal Family.

This is likely to include Princess Beatrice, her sister Eugenie and her parents.

Other major royals including King Charles III, Prince William, Prince of Wales and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex are expected to be in attendance.

She will then be moved to the King George VI Memorial Chapel, named after her late father, which will be her final resting place.

The Queen’s late husband Prince Philip will be moved from the Royal Vault, where he has been placed since his death last year, to rest alongside her.

This follows five days of Her Majesty lying in state to allow the public to pay their respects.

The queue to walk past her coffin in Westminster Hall saw waiting times of up to 24 hours and was up to 10 miles long at times.

The Queen will be laid to rest this evening in a private ceremony

Princess Beatrice is expected to attend along with other senior royals
