PRINCESS Charlotte stole the show as she arrived for the Royal’s Christmas church service at Sandringham yesterday.

The “adorable” four-year-old Princess melted hearts after she hugged a member of the public and even curtsied for the Queen on Christmas Day.

As her and her mother Kate Middleton greeted crowds outside the church, the little Princess was handed a bouquet of white roses by “star-struck” royal fan James Heather.

The six-year-old had specially chosen the flowers as they’re his mother’s favourite.

In the hilarious clip – which was posted on Twitter by Jade Garwood – a delighted Princess Charlotte was so taken with the bouquet that she refused to hand them over to a royal aide who offered to hold them for her.

As the aide reaches down to take the flowers, Princess Charlotte considers her offer for a moment before shaking her head and turning back to the crowds.

The little boy’s mum Nakita told The Mirror: “When they left the church, Kate came over and said ‘are these for Charlotte?’

“And then James said ‘yes’ and handed them over.”

Describing Princess Charlotte as “really shy and coy”, the mother continued: “You could tell she was happy and then she said ‘thank you’.

“James was so excited but I think he was quite starstruck by her.”

The princess was also given a doll by fans

Yesterday was the first time Princess Charlotte and Prince George attended church on Christmas Day with their parents at Sandringham.

The adorable Princess was also treated to a specially made-doll from a member of the crowd and hugged a royal fan who was waiting outside the church in a wheelchair.

Gemma Clark, 39, who had travelled from Long Sutton in Lincolnshire with her family, gave Charlotte the inflatable flamingo and said she seemed pleased with the gift.

The flamingo was called Felicity, Ms Clark said, adding: “But Charlotte may call it whatever she likes now.”
