How do you get to work for the Queen at Buckingham Palace and which job vacancies can you apply for?

IF YOU ever fancied working in a palace and being employed by the Queen, the prospect might not be as far-fetched as you think.

The royal family regularly put outs advertisements for job vacancies going at Buckingham Palace and other residences and some even require you to live in with Her Majesty.

If you want to work for the Queen, the palace regularly posts job vacancies on the Royal Household website

Last week it was revealed that the Queen is hiring someone to give tours of Buckingham Palace.

The lucky candidate will be a full-time “Visitor Services Assistant” and will earn 10.50 per hour.

This follows the Queen hiring live-in kitchen staff, and last month was looking for a florist who will get paid 24k to travel to all the royal residences.

If you fancy your new boss being the Queen and the possibility of bumping into the royal during your working day, you can keep tabs on all vacancies on the Royal Household website.

You could find yourself working at Buckingham Palace or one of the other royal residences

Currently the palace is looking for a project assistant, a housekeeping assistant and a daily cleaner, among other jobs.

Some of the positions are for roles at Buckingham Palace, but you could also work at Windsor Castle, near to where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live with baby Archie.

There are also positions going at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, which is the official residence of the Queen in Scotland.

Roles are regularly updated and added so keen hopefuls should keen checking back to apply.

And the good news is some of the roles, such as the current housekeeping assistant position, dont require previous experience as an essential.
