Harry’s car was spotted en route Heathrow

Harry has been in the UK for a week, which included isolating for five days at Frogmore Cottage before yesterday’s official unveiling of the new Princess Diana statue at Kensington Palace.

He was picked up on the Heathrow tarmac later joined his brother Prince William, who were pictured together ahead of the poignant ceremony.

It was first time brothers have seen each other face-to-face since Prince Philip‘s funeral in April – and the pair seemed to be in good spirits while enjoying each other’s company.

They went to Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden together, with Harry clapping his hands in anticipation as they approached the statue.

They were welcomed by Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, their former private secretary, who is godfather to Prince George.

Both held the green curtain draped over the memorial and William asked “ready?” before they pulled it off in sync to reveal the touching artwork

Sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley’s statue shows Diana with short cropped hair, which she had during the final period of her life before her tragic death aged just 36.

Harry made a quick dash back to the US

HOARken Garden was chosen as it as a place Diana loved and which now boasts 4,000-plus individual flowers.

The brothers appeared close on last Thursday afternoon – raising the hopes of millions that their feud may now be behind them.

And appeared Harry and William had put aside their differences to honour Princess Diana and even shared a glass of bubbly after the event on July 1 which commemorated what would have been the princess’ 60th. birthday.

But just 20 minutes later Harry was pictured driving out of Kensington Palace in a Range Rover.

He flew back to LA the same day to be reunited with wife Meghan, 39, and their children Archie and Lilibet.

A police van escorted the vehicle transporting the duke across the Heathrow tarmac.

And he arrived at Terminal 5 in a blacked-out VW MiniBus, accompanied by two security personnel in the front seats.

Meghan stayed in the US after giving birth to Lilibet last month.

In a joint statement issued afterwards, the brothers said: “Today, on what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character — qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.

“Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen for ever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.
