KATE Middleton will be “front and centre” of the Royal Family with Prince William vowing Megxit won’t ruin their plans, it has been claimed today.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to take on more responsibilities after the Sussexes dramatically stepped down as senior royals and moved to Canada.

But it has been claimed today that Prince William is determined his own charity work will not take a back seat – with wife Kate to be increasingly involved.

A source claimed today: “William knows he will have a lot more work this year and is happy to perform whatever duties the Queen asks of him. But he is determined that wont be to the detriment of his charity work.”

The future king is particularly passionate about continuing the work of the Royal Foundation, including its focus on mental health.

The source said: “Since his brother Harry and Meghan left the Foundation last year, the work it does has been very much in the model of how both William and Kate want it to be.

“The pair of them personally drive the agenda for the Foundations work, attend meetings and have a huge input.

“Kate is front and centre now where in the past she didn’t have as much of an input.

“They are very ambitious about what they want to achieve. Performing their Royal duties remains incredibly important to them and it always will.

“But the Foundation is where their passion lies and where they believe they can have a huge impact in 2020.”

Kate, 38, has already been busy this week – undertaking four royal engagements in just seven days as she launched her own childhood survey.

And William, 37, has “clear and determined” ambitions for the couple over the next 12 months.

‘HE’S INCREDIBLY PASSIONATE’

The source said: “Put simply he wants to help bring about a crusade on the issue and feels incredibly passionate about it.

“Delivering on those aims and ambitions are important to him and he has already drawn up a hectic timetable with his team within the Foundation.

“Two of the biggest areas are around mental health and supporting those who work in the emergency services.”

It comes after speculation of a feud between brothers William and Harry during the so-called Megxit drama.

But the royal brothers have ended their two-year feud this month, realising it was “no or never”.

The brothersdecided to hold secret peace talks because both feared the breach might never be healed ifPrince Harry moved away.

The peace talks took place away from the official negotiations about the Sussexes future with Kate and Meghan joining in some of the brothers discussions.

A senior royal source said: WilliamandHarryhave spent time together privately away from the official Sandringham Summit working on their relationship and discussing their future.

It has been ground-breaking in terms of saving their bond as brothers and has been totally driven by them.”
