ROYALS fans were delighted as they were treated to heartwarming Mother’s Day Instagram posts from both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle yesterday.

Both duchesses opt for very different approaches in their uploads, with Kate, 38, sharing a series of sentimental snaps of the likes of Princess Diana and her mum Carole.

The post also included a previously unseen adorable family photo of her and Prince William, 37, giving piggyback rides to their smiling kids, Prince George, six, and Princess Charlotte, four.

Meanwhile, the SussexRoyal account decided to post words instead of photos as they praised both American “moms” and British mothers.

Listing all the different types of mothers, the post simply read: “Mummy. Mom. Mama. Granny. Nan. Thank you.”

And it seems that Kate’s post was the most effective at tugging on the heartstrings, as it got nearly double the amount of likes as Meghan’s did.
