PRINCE William famously said his wife Kates cooking was the reason Im so skinny, but Mary Berry doesnt think so.
The queen of baking has leapt to the Duchess of Cambridges defence, insisting she is actually a dab hand in the kitchen.

Speaking at an event in Birmingham today, she said: Kate is a really good cook.
Former Great British Bake Off judge Mary has teamed up with the royal couple for a one-off show, A Berry Royal Christmas, and said: They are such an enchanting, loving couple.
I got them cooking a roulade. They were very competitive and kept looking at each others creations while they were making them.
The hour-long BBC1 show on December 16 also sees Mary join the royal couple on charity visits, including the UKs largest homeless centre, The Passage, in London.

She said: William actually went out and slept on the streets to know what it was all about.
“They are such a great couple. They were caring, talking and trying to get to the bottom of what was wrong with these people and how they could help.
These royals have won the approval of the kitchen queen.
Frances steps into Cold Feet
STAGE and screen diva Frances Barber will appear in the next series of ITVs Cold Feet.
She plays a headhunter who tries to tempt Karen Marsden, played by Hermione Norris, to leave her job for a better one.
Francess last major TV role was playing brassy barrister Caroline Warwick QC opposite Maxine Peake in BBC1 legal drama Silk.
She is the latest in a long line of guest stars to sign up for the comedy drama, including Downton Abbey actress Siobhan Finneran and former Likely Lad James Bolam.
Other familiar faces in this series will be Ackley Bridges Sunetra Sarker and Gemma Jones, who most viewers will remember as Bridget Joness mum.
Filming on the ninth Cold Feet series has finished. Its due to air next month with James Nesbitt and the rest of the cast returning.
