MEGHAN Markle has been blasted as “lazy” amid rumours she failed to interview guests herself on her Spotify podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex was also accused of being “determined to conquer everything” by royal expert Angela Levin.

Meghan Markle has been accused of being lazy

Rumours circulated today that Meghan never spoke to her guests on podcast Archetypes after one thanked a producer for being an “excellent interviewer”, rather than the Duchess.

Ms Levin told HOAR: “It shows how determined she is to conquer everything.

“She wants all these famous women to talk to her to prove to us she has all these connections, I don’t think she is particularly interested.

“You can tell she has got the producers to interview [and then] the cheek of her to just tell us about herself.

“Everything is about her. With Meghan it’s about how much more of herself she can reveal despite wanting privacy.

“It’s an amazing contradiction.”

Listeners have had mixed reactions to the podcast, which is part of a rumoured £18million Spotify deal.

One fan said it has “shown that Meghan has one of the best broadcasting voices out there. No competition.”

Another wrote: “This series deserves awards and I hope it gets them.”

But a critic has slammed it online as a “failing podcast”.

Another said people not into podcasts “are not missing out”.

It comes after rumours emerged she didn’t interview her guests on Archetypes.

Appearing to only talk with them rather than ask questions, it’s led people to believe Meghan’s comments are edited into the segments.

In one of the Duchess of Sussex’s episodes, titled To B or not to B, she spoke with journalist and author Allison Yarrow.

The pair discussed how women being called difficult is just a code word people use instead of using the B-word.

Taking to Instagram post-podcast recording, Allison thanked a producer for being an “excellent interviewer” instead of Meghan herself.

The shady picture caption sparked speculation amongst social media users that the former actress didn’t speak to Allison at all, questioning the authenticity of the whole series.

One Twitter user said: “Meghan Markle only interviewing the celebrities on Archetypes is another evidence that she’s lazy.”

Meanwhile another tweeted: “Allison Yarrow, yet another person I’ve never heard of, and this Archetypes interviewee admits she never even SPOKE with Meghan Markle.”

Meghan signed what is an apparent £18million Spotify deal back in 2020.

Guests such as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey and Mindy Kaling have also appeared.
