MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry’s mega bucks deals with Netflix and Spotify were “deal breakers” for the Queen when deciding to strip them of their royal patronages, a royal biographer has said.
Appearing on the Heirpod podcast, Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie claimed The Queen stripped Harry and Meghan of their patronages as a result of their lucrative deals with Spotify and Netflix.
He explained: “As much as Harry and Meghan had hoped to continue their work with as many of these organisations as possible, [they have] a portfolio of independence in diverse which includes production deals with Netflix and Spotify.
“And of course setting up their Archewell foundation, a non-profit alongside it.
“They are all ended up being deal breakers for the Queen and senior aides involved in the discussion.”
It comes as Meghan sent royal fans into a frenzy by “hinting” at her baby’s gender with a $1.4k cocktail ring.
The Ecksand ring features a 6.00 ct ethically-sourced Rose Cut Pink Sapphire – and the pink piece of jewellery caused fans to speculate that the Duchess is expecting a baby girl.
