THE Duke and Duchess of Sussex could see the so-called rift with the royals worsen if they accept a human rights award, an expert claims.

Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be honoured for taking a stance against “structural racism” in the Royal Family at a glitzy bash by receiving the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope award.

The prestigious gong celebrates “exemplary leaders” who have demonstrated “an unwavering commitment” to social change.

Ms Bond told the channel that the “rift” between the King Charles and the pair would deepen if they accept the award – as it would be seen as “a tacit accusation” of racism within the firm.
