MEGHAN Markle has held a series of meetings with TV agents as she plots a return to acting this autumn.

HOAR Online can reveal the Duchess of Sussex has spoken to a number of entertainment agents from her new base in Vancouver Island.

Sources say Meghan, who will formally step away from her Royal duties at the end of this month, would love to return to the screen before the end of the year.

“Meghan has set herself a target of around September or October,” a friend said.

“At the moment she is loving spending time with Archie and settling in to her new life with Harry back home in Canada.

“But Meghan remains hugely ambitious and is very open-minded to a return to acting which is what she knows, loves and does best.

“Her preference is to explore the route of a documentary in which she is able to follow up some of the causes she is interested in.

“This wish has been the focus of some of her most recent meetings and will likely shape the kind of work the agent Meghan goes with seeks to get for her. She is very excited about what the future holds.”

Previous reports had claimed Meghan and Harry were considering moving to LA.

However the Sun Online understands this is becoming less likely.

Although it would put them closer to Meghan’s mother, Doria, the pair have been advised by their security teams that living in LA would present huge risks.

“The bill for keeping them safe in LA would be massive,” a source said.

“They would also be very much in the spotlight and there for the paparazzi to go after.

“One of the best things about the move to Vancouver Island has been the fact Harry and Meghan have had some privacy.”

The former Suits actor has already signed a voiceover deal with Disney in return for a donation to Elephants Without Borders, an organisation which helps track and protects the animals from poaching.

In May last year Disney honoured Meghan and Prince Harry with a watercolour Winnie-the-Pooh animation to celebrate the birth of their son, Archie.

The news comes months after a surprising video clip appeared to capture Prince Harry laying the groundwork for his wife’s Disney voiceover deal.

He was filmed revealing Meghan’s interest to Bob Iger, the Disney chief at the London premiere of the Lion King in July.
