THE New York hotel where the Duchess of Sussex held her “secret” baby shower earlier this year has launched an incredible Christmas package for penthouse suite.

But if you want to enjoy the festive season like the rich and famous, you’ll need a staggering $250,000 (190,316) for the three day break.

The Mark Hotel describes itself as boldly lavish

The Mark Hotel, which brands itself as New York’s “most boldly lavish hotel”, has said that its jaw-droppingly expensive package brings together the best of the “iconic holiday traditions”.

The price includes a three-night stay in the 12,000 sq ft penthouse suite, which is the biggest hotel suite in the entire United States according to the hotel.

One night in the suite can go for up to $75,000 (57,104).

The two-floor suite is also where Meghan Markle’s baby shower was hosted, and has been dubbed “a castle in the sky” by its French designer Jacques Grange.

There are just five bedrooms but eight bathrooms and a living room with 26-ft ceiling, as well as conservatory and library lounge.
