MEGHAN Markle’s elderly uncles have given up hope of every hearing from her again – as one said “I’m not very fond of the way she’s treated her family”.

The Duchess of Sussex, 38, has been estranged from most of her dad Thomas’ side of the family since she started dating Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle’s uncles said they’ve given up hope of seeing her again

Meghan’s dad Thomas, 75, has never met his son-in-law and was not invited to Archie’s christening at Windsor Castle.

Meghan’s uncle Mike Markle, 80, from Florida, said he and brother Fred had resigned themselves to the fact they will never hear from her again.

He told the Daily Mail: “I don’t understand her, the way she’s treated her family. I’m not very fond of it.”

Despite suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and a frail heart, Mike told the paper he “absolutely” would have travelled to England to walk his niece down the aisle when Thomas announced he himself wasn’t fit to make the trip.

He said: “I thought I would [get an invitation], but anyhow, I didn’t hear from her.”

Discussing his brother, Mike added: “I talk to Fred once a month. Our relationship is strong, he never changes. We don’t talk about things to do with Meghan anymore.”

SNUBBED

Earlier this year another of Meghan’s uncles, Joseph Johnson, who lives in Fresno in California, claimed his niece was relishing her role in the public eye and said she gets that courage from her mum Doria.

He added: Meghan is a really wonderful person. I really admire Doria for the way she has raised her. She is not afraid [to be herself] and I think she gets that courage from her mother.

However Mr Johnson admitted his wife, Pamela, felt miffed at being snubbed for the royal wedding in May last year.

He said: ’My wife was kind of miffed. You know 800 guests. But I said, ‘Right, we’re not having that kind of close relationship right now.

Meghan has her own set of friends now. They were the ones she invited. I guess you could say they are Hollywood royalty. People in the spotlight, and that’s what her life is about.

It comes after Meghan raised eyebrows with her claims in Tom Bradby’s ITV documentary from their royal to Africa that the monarchy’s stiff upper lip attitude was damaging.

Harry also revealed how he and Prince William were now on “different paths” and the pair have good and bad days.

Royal insiders criticised the Duke, 35, and Duchess, 38, for airing their problems publicly.

Meanwhile Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, the Duchess of Sussexs friend and agent for years, claims the Duchess changed when things began to get serious with her future husband.

Gina said she didnt know what she was letting herself in for but that Meghan didnt want to hear any negativity during what was a happy time for her and Harry.

She added: She was naive. I still think that now. I said, This is serious. This is the end of your normal life, the end of your privacy everything.

Harry and Meghan told how the Africa tour had been exhausting and now they plan to take a six-week holiday for much-needed family time.

They plan to spend Thanksgiving in California with Meghans mum Doria before returning to the UK to spend the rest of the holiday season with the Queen in keeping with the tradition of Christmas at Sandringham in Norfolk.
