PRINCE Andrew and Fergies Christmas card makes reference to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal which has engulfed the royal this year.
The Duke of Yorks friendship with the paedophile has come under scrutiny over the past few months but the card comes with the caption: Say Goodbye to 2019.
Andrew has come under fire over claims he allegedlyhad sex with a 17-year-oldand for his friendship with disgraced financier Epstein, who took his own life in August this year.
The 66-year-old was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Andrew, 59, has always denied any wrongdoing but his attempt to put the matter behind him backfired when he gave a car crash interview to the BBC.
The Duke and Duchesss festive tidings feature one image of one of their Norfolk terrier dogs nose-deep in a bush with the caption: ‘Say Goodbye to 2019.’
Another shows what is thought to be the Queen’s Balmoral estate and a path through the Highlands, accompanied with the message: We Look to the Road Ahead.’
The white embossed card is also from the couples daughters Beatrice, 31, and 29-year-old Eugenie.
Printed inside is the message: We are united with gratitude for your support and kindness, Thank you.’
Some of the cards have been sent with gifts including a pencil with a crown on top of the words ‘Duchess Doodles’ embossed in silver down the side, which refers to one of her favourite nicknames.
