JEFFREY Epstein’s former butler says Prince Andrew ‘may have something to hide’ as he claims he used to set up the tables for the royal’s ‘daily massages’.

Juan Alessi, 70, had said the Duke of York needs to speak to with US investigators about the disgraced financier’s alleged victims, including Virginia Roberts.

Prince Andrew has refused three requests to be interviewed in Jeffrey Epstein’s investigation, a lawyer for the dead paedo’s alleged victims has claimed

Ms Roberts, 36, alleges Epstein used her as a sex slave and forced her to sleep with the Duke of York three times in 2001 when she was 17.

Prince Andrew, 60, has always strongly denied the allegations against him.

Juan believes Prince Andrew needs to speak with investigators as the told The Mirror: “Maybe he has something to hide.”

Juan started working for the disgraced financier in 1991 at his £7million Palm Beach home in Florida.

When his boss was arrested for underage abuse in 2006, Juan was interviewed at length by investigators.

In 2009, Juan swore an oath in a civil case brought by “Jane Doe 2” against Epstein.

In 2016, he swore an oath in Ms Robert’s civil case for defamation against Ghislaine Maxwell that Prince Andrew was among regular guests.

Juan claims he set up massage tables for the prince every day during his extended stay at the paedo’s waterfront home.

During the criminal investigation into Epstein in November 2005, Juan gave a sworn statement to Palm Beach Police saying Andrew “spent weeks with us” and slept in “the blue room” – the main guest bedroom.

Juan added that the royal had “daily massages” saying: “We set up the tables.”

He recalls seeing naked girls by the pool during Andrew’s stay, but insisted they put clothes on before entering the house.

Juan said he never witnessed Andrew take part in any of the alleged sexual activity.

The former butler met the Duke twice and described Andrew as a “gentleman”.

He said: “He was a nice guy. I never see him with girls. I never see him with Virginia. I never saw him naked or actually having the massage.

“If he had a massage, like I say in my deposition, everything was upstairs behind closed doors. I never saw him kissing anybody or patting anybody.”

Juan signed a confidentiality agreement when he quit working for Epstein but says it died when his former boss did.

He spoke about how Maxwell allegedly once made him drive to Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago looking for girls.

Juan also said he’s recently had an emotional reunion with Ms Rorberts where he wishes she had told him about the alleged abuse at the time.

He opened up about his 11 years with the Epstein and Maxwell saying it was “relief” when his former boss died because he was a “danger”.

Juan added: “I hope Prince Andrew, as a father himself, does the right thing too.”

A pal of Prince Andrew told The Mirror: “None of us who know the Duke will be surprised by what the butler has said about him: a polite, decent, generous man.”

Earlier this month it was claimed Prince Andrew has reportedly refused three requests to be interviewed in Epstein’s investigation.

In November, Andrew had said he was prepared to assist US officials with investigations into Epstein and his associates.

During the car crash BBC interview that led to him stepping back from public life, he said: “Of course, I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required.”

Epstein hanged himself last summer at a jail in Manhattan, where he was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.

Prosecutors had accused him of sexually exploiting dozens of women and girls in New York and Florida.

HOAR Online contacted Prince Andrew’s representatives for a comment.
