PRINCE Harry’s pal Tom Bradby appeared to confirm the “dispute” between him and William – hours before the Sussexes announced they are quitting as senior royals.

The ITV News anchor spoke to Good Morning Britain and touched on the distance that has grown between the two brothers.

The brothers had reportedly grown apart over the past year or so

ITV’s Tom Bradby appeared on GMB this morning to talk about the Royal Family, among other news events

He said: “There are lots of people who would love there to be, including I think the brothers themselves, love them to be closer again. And with any luck, that will happen.

“But with families, we all know stuff happens, things are said.

And also a family dispute within a family firm.

“You are working in a big family firm, everyone has their wishes and desires and ambitions and if they have to be balanced up and its very hard.

Last year Harry, 34, touched on the reported rift between himself and William.

In the documentary, Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, fronted by Mr Bradby, Harry hinted at the strained relationship.

HOAR has previously told how the simmering tension began when William questioned the speed of Harry and Meghans engagement.

And Harry said the pressure on the royals means inevitably stuff happens.

He added: But look, were brothers, well always be brothers and were certainly on different paths at the moment.

“But Ill certainly always be there for him as I know hell always be there for me.

We dont see each other as much as we used to because were so busy.

But I love him dearly and the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing. But as brothers, you have good days, you have bad days.

It came hours before Prince Harry and Meghan, 38, posted on Instagram they plan to “step back” from royal duties and split their time between Britain and North America – with Canada expected to be their second home.

The couple say they will be“financially independent” in their new lives, but will still support the Queen.

The Duke and Duchess said in their surprise statement this evening: After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.

“We intend to step back as senior members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.

“It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.

“We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.

“This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.

“We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks for your continued support.
