HER MAJESTY looked on unimpressed after Alan Titchmarsh describes her as ‘the nation’s heartbeat’, followed by a shrug.
The first of the televised events to celebrate the Queen‘s platinum jubilee aired this weekend (Sunday 16 May).
The audience erupted in applause in response to Titchmarsh‘s describing the 96-year-old monarch: “There’s been one constant heartbeat of this nation and that heart belongs to Her Majesty, the Queen.”
As the camera cut to the Queen however, she appeared untouched by the words.
A video of the moment has since gone viral with many declaring it will become a meme.
Top Gun actor Tom Cruise, 59, was among a galaxy of stars who appeared during the extravaganza.
