THE Queen has revealed her favourite programme – and it might just surprise you.
The monarch revealed her show of choice in a conversation with BBC Radio 2 editor Phil Jones in 2001.
In a piece for the New Statesman, Jones recalled his chat with Her Majesty, and said: “In the end, I alighted on, ‘What’s your favourite programme?’ Straightaway, she said, ‘ The Kumars at No. 42′
Apparently, Jones had kept her confession a secret for 21 years.
Apparently The Queen is also big a fan of boxset binging, after being revealed a senior courtier once asked the sovereign her favourite TV show and she promptly replied that it was The Bill.
She added the caveat that she didn’t like “those episodes where policemen get hurt”.
