THE Queen put on a brave face at Buckingham Palace’s NATO reception – hours after Panorama’s bombshell interview with Prince Andrew’s ‘sex slave’ accuser Virginia Roberts.

The monarch greeted US President Donald Trump and leaders from the alliance’s 29 member states before their official talks start on Wednesday.

She spent time at the reception speaking to female leaders and first ladies, including Melania Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, before mingling with the rest of the leaders and their wives.

The Queen and other royals were out in force for the event, including the Duchess of Cambridge, the Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra.

The Duke of Cambridge is away in the Middle East and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on a six-week break from royal engagements.

Donald Trump has previously boasted about having “automatic chemistry” with the Queen, and has praised her as a “spectacular woman”.

One notable exception was Prince Andrew.

His accuser, Virginia Roberts, claims she was told to ‘do for him what you do for Jeffrey Epstein’ in Monday’s bombshell television interview.

Speaking on BBC Panorama, Ms Roberts said she was trafficked by US billionaire Epstein and ordered to have sex with Prince Andrew at the age of 17.

Ms Roberts, now 35, says she was ‘passed around like a toy’ by US billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and his Brit socialite ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

She alleges she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York in London, New York and the US Virgin Islands as a 17-year-old in 2001.

ALLEGATIONS DENIED

The documentary also revealed:

  • Five more women say Prince Andrew witnessed Epstein abuse them.
  • Virginia Roberts called sex with the Duke of York ‘quick and disgusting’.
  • Leaked e-mails appear to show Andrew asking for help after sex claims.
  • A date on the back of their infamous photograph ‘proves it’s not a fake’.
  • Unseen pictures show the Prince at Ascot with Epstein and Maxwell.
  • An Epstein sex accuser says ‘wild sex was normal as cup of tea’.

Prince Andrew denies the allegations and claimed he has no recollection of ever meeting Ms Roberts in a BBC Newsnight interview last month.

But speaking to Panorama of the night they allegedly first had sex in London after dancing at Tramp nightclub, Ms Roberts said: “Ghislaine tells me I have to do for Andrew what I do for Jeffrey and that made me sick.

“I just didn’t expect it from royalty. I didn’t expect it from someone people look up to and admire.

“It didnt last very long. The whole thing, procedure – it was disgusting.

“He got up and said thanks and walked out and I sat there in bed, I felt horrified and ashamed and dirty.

‘AT PIZZA EXPRESS’

“The next day Ghislaine pats me on the back and said ‘you made him really happy’.

“I had just been abused by a member of the Royal Family.

“I hadn’t been chained to a kitchen sink but these powerful people were my chains.”

Prince Andrew claims Ms Roberts’ account is “categorically untrue”.

He says he was at a Pizza Express in Woking on the night in question in March 2001 taking his daughter Princess Beatrice to a party.

The prince added that Ms Roberts’ claims that he sweated heavily could not have been true as a medical condition he had at the time meant he couldn’t sweat, after suffering an overdose of adrenalin during the Falklands War.
