BAFTA host Rebel Wilson spoke about her dramatic five-stone weight loss in her opening monologue.
The Australian movie actress, 43, also aimed a dig at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
She said: “Our next package is for Outstanding British Film from drama to horror, to fantasy…
“Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah had it all.”
She also referenced Prince Andrew‘s claim he had visited a Woking branch of Pizza Express.
The star said: “I was going to do a musical number. It was about Prince Andrew. It was on roller skates.
“It was called Pizza Express. But don’t worry I’m not going to do it, I’m saving my voice for the sequel to Cats.”
Rebel also addressed her dramatic weight loss, with a picture of her shown during her last Bafta appearance shown on the big screen.
She said: “I might look a little different from the last time you guys saw me here.
“That was two years ago and since then I have done quite a transformation. I hope JK Rowling still approves.
“Everybody is asking me why did you lose weight and I was like, really it was to get the attention of Robert Pattinson.
“Because you know what they say, once you go Bat you don’t go back – just joking. I did not lose weight for just a guy, I did it to get more acting roles.
“I am so excited I can play the non-funny love interest in an Adam Sandler movie.”
But while some jokes hit the mark, others complained that her hosting was “cringeworthy”.
Rebel, who starred in the Pitch Perfect film series as Fat Amy, kicked off an intensive weight-loss journey in 2019.
She revealed her target weight of 165 pounds – which is a little under 12 stone – to her fans and finally hit it in November 2020.
The star followed the Mayr Method – where you focus on chewing food and eating slowly – in order to achieve her drastic weight loss.
Rebel has appeared in movie blockbusters including Bridesmaids, How To Be Single and Cats.
