ROSE Ayling-Ellis was seen breaking down in tears at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee party as she looked back on her career.
The EastEnders star opened up about meeting Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, on the set of the iconic BBC One soap.
Rose, 27, who was crowned the winner of Strictly last year alongside pro-dancer Giovanni Pernice, was in the audience at the Jubilee Party.
She took to the sofa alongside judge Shirley Ballas to look back on her time on the BBC competition as the first deaf contestant.
Rose – who met the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall last month – admitted Camilla told her she “voted for her” on the show.
It saw the actress break down in tears as she went on to discuss the impact of being an ambassador for the deaf community.

“So we had Camilla and Charles come to visit us and they tried out acting,” Rose recalled of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit.
“It was really special, and both of them came up to me and the first thing they did was sign ‘Good morning’ to me. I was really touched.
“Apparently Camilla is a big fan of Strictly and she said that she voted for me every week and all her children voted for me every week.
“I couldn’t believe the Royal family voted for me, that’s mad!”
Going on to discuss her legacy after Strictly, Rose began to get teary as she discussed what it meant to represent the deaf community.
“I would like to carry on with it,” she said, holding back tears. “I’ve still got so much more to do, I want to raise even more awareness.
“There is so much to learn about the deaf community and I really want to share that.”
It comes after the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall landed starring roles in EastEnders to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla filmed a scene in Albert Square and outside the soap’s Queen Vic pub.
They were introduced by Danny Dyer’s character Mick Carter as surprise guests to Albert Square’s jubilee street party.
In the scene, Mick said to the Prince of Wales: “Welcome to your great-great-great-grandmother’s boozer.”
Actress Kellie Bright, 45, who plays Mick’s wife Linda, said: “I did think what amazing sports that they’re just willing to do it.
“It must have been nerve-racking for them and completely out of their norm. So I just hope they enjoyed it as much as we did.”

Charles and Camilla filmed the scenes in March on a visit to the Elstree set, where they met the cast and crew.
Executive producer Chris Clenshaw said: “We felt it was only right that we marked this extremely momentous episode with a fitting tribute.
“What better way than to wish them on their way from Albert Square than with a special Jubilee version of our iconic theme tune.”
