EARLIER today, the Queen celebrated the birthday of Prince Edward by sharing a snap of him as a baby.
Royal fans sent well-wishes to the Earl of Wessex as he turned 56 – but they also couldn’t help but notice his similarity to another youngster in his family, Prince Louis.

Posting on Instagram, the official @theroyalfamily account shared a throwback photo of the monarch holding her youngest son, then aged just one, at Frogmore House in Windsor.
The caption of the image read: “Happy birthday to The Earl of Wessex, who celebrates his 56th birthday today.”
Within hours the adorable picture had received more than 150,000 ‘likes’.
One person commented: “Happy birthday to Prince Edward.”
