Meghan Markle returned from her six-week break over Christmas – and looked extremely glamorous on her first engagement of 2020, alongside Prince Harry at Canada House.

The mum-of-one, 38, looked elegant in a tan-coloured Stella McCartney coat, with buttons lining the cuff, which typically retails for 650.

Under the snug garment, the duchess is wearing a 89.95 brown satin midi-length skirt by Massimo Dutti, and a matching turtle-neck top.

Shes finished off the chic look with brown suede Jimmy Choo heels, and kept her trademark brunette locks down and wavy. 

Its not the first time Meghan and Prince Harry have visited Canada House, and their last appearance was on Commonwealth Day in March 2019.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they went back to work today after a six-week break away from the spotlight.

The relaxed-looking royals arrived at Canada’s High Commission in London this afternoon, to thank staff for the “warm” hospitality while on holiday in the country.

Buckingham Palace said today the couple wanted to meet Janice Charette, Canada’s High Commissioner to the UK, as well as staff to “thank them for the warm Canadian hospitality and support they received during their recent stay”.

They visited the Canada Gallery, and see a special exhibition by Indigenous Canadian artist, Skawennati.

The Queen is said to keep her decorations up until February 6, which marks the anniversary of her father’s death.

King George VI passed away at Sandringham, where the royals celebrate Christmas, on that date in 1952.

And the Queen tends to stay in the Norfolk estate to mark the anniversary in private with Prince Philip before returning to Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

But the monarch isnt on holiday, as there are just two days-a-year when she doesn’t receive a red box from the government – containing cabinet documents, telegrams and policy papers to be read and sometimes approved and signed – Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.

The Sussex’s have just returned from Canada after a six-week holiday over Christmas and New Year which was deemed highly successful

Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be looking to move to Canada for a significant portion of this year as they actively consider their future role in the Royal Family.

Long-term options being floated include the Sussexs relinquishing their HRH titles or relocating their office to Canada.

HOAR has learned they willstart discussing their plans with senior royals expected to include the Queen and Prince Charles in the coming days.

Sources stressed the talks are preliminary and nothing has yet been finalised.
