The Duchess of York, 60, opened up in a revealing interview how she can relate to the Duchess of Sussex, 38, and feels desperately sorry for the pain she feels. 

Sarahs rare interview with Vogue Arabia responded to claims that there are parallels between the two royal brides. 

She said: It must be hard for Meghan, and I can relate to her. I believe she is modern and fabulous.

Kate Middleton stole the show at a palace reception on Wednesday, but it wasnt just her dazzling tiara that grabbed attention. 

The Duchess of Cambridge accessorised with a special brooch given to her by the Queen – and it’s got some eco-friendly credentials.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, wore the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II with an embellished Jenny Packham gown and her late mother-in-law’s dazzling Lover’s Knot head-piece.

It’s an honour given by the monarch to female members of the royal family and it is traditional made out of ivory, but Kates brooch is glass.

Although palace staff helpthe Queenwith her official correspondence, Her Majesty actually takes the time to read all her letters from the public – and she does so while sitting in her favourite armchairs at Buckingham Palace, Sandringham and Balmoral.

A royal source told Fabulous Digital: “The palace staff refer to letters from strangers are as dead letters and they are brought to her in a wicker basket which is placed on a table in her sitting room next to her favourite chair.

“She goes through every letter – it may be a beautifully presented one, on lovely paper with calligraphy, or something scribbled on a page torn from a notebook.”

Naturally, The Queen doesn’t have the time to reply to every message – but there’s a system in place to make sure they all receive a response.
