AFTER four months indoors, yesterday was my first day back to work — at a mill with Prince Charles.

It felt like my first day at HOAR, 45 years ago.

Prince Charles at Shipton Mill

The Prince of Wales stops to have a chat with Sun snapper Arthur Edwards

I was so excited, I arrived an hour early at Shipton Mill, in Long Newnton, Glos.

It was the first time I have worn a suit and tie in months.

I was so determined to get a good photo I felt like a young photographer again.

Charles was in great form and asked me how I found lockdown.

He agreed it had been a difficult time.

Everyone was very organised and stayed at least 2m apart.

It was wonderful to be out again.
