With her blonde hair perfectly styled into Diana’s signature hairdo, Emma wore a champagne dress with gold detailing – a replica of the Victor Edelstein gown she once wore to a charity gala in 1989.

The event was held in her honour at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.

Emma’s outfit looked almost identical to the Princess of Wales’ with a corset design and satin skirt.

The star appeared in high spirits as she waved to fans in between takes.

“I have been glued to the show since the first episode and to think Im now joining this incredibly talented acting family is just surreal. Princess Diana was an icon, and her effect on the world remains profound and inspiring.
