WHETHER it’s cereal or eggs, porridge or pancakes, we’ve all got our favourite, go-to breakfast options.

But according to one royal biographer, the Queen starts her day with a round of biscuits – and a cup of tea, of course.

According to Katie, the Queen starts the day with tea and biscuits

Katie Nicholl has revealed that Her Maj often starts the day with a sweet treat, followed by a bowl of cereal.

Importantly, the cereal must have been stored in Tupperware to keep it fresh.

The Queen, 93, then indulges in a second breakfast of marmalade on toast followed by another tea.

“HRH typically starts with a simple cup of tea and biscuits, followed by a bowl of cereal famously served from Tupperware, marmalade on toast and a second cup of English Breakfast tea for breakfast,” Katie explained.

Her Maj also enjoys cornflakes – from Tupperware – followed by toast

The monarch never snacks or drinks coffee until lunchtime

“She never snacks or drinks coffee or anything until lunchtime. This will then usually consist of a light starter such as a salad, a main course such as fish and vegetables, especially Scottish salmon, and no dessert.”

Katie went on to explain that during the afternoon, the Queen will take a break to enjoy cucumber sandwiches followed by a slice of fruit cake and – yep – you guessed it, tea.

“Tea is one of The Queens favourite meals and she religiously takes a break in the late afternoon every day for this,” explained Katie.

“She enjoys a cucumber sandwich with the crusts cut off, a slice of fruit cake and a pot of Earl Grey tea.

“For dinner, HRH will usually eat a starter followed by a main course, with her favourite dish being lamb in addition to game. For dessert she indulges with a chocolate torte, which is just enough to satisfy her sweet tooth.”

To celebrate season three of The Crown – which hit Netflix this weekend – Katie teamed up with Uber Eats and luxury restaurant The Baptist Grill at L’oscar hotel.

As of today, customers in London can have the Queen’s limited edition menu delivered to their door, including everything Her Maj eats in a day.

It can be purchased separately or as a bundle for 115, up until 9pm.
