THEY are known as one of the most solid royal couples – from cute secret nicknames to fun karaoke nights.

But even Zara and Mike Tindall can get on each other’s nerves sometimes.

Zara Tindall has revealed husband Mike’s annoying lockdown habit

In a light-hearted live conversation on Instagram with their friends, couple James Haskell and Chloe Madeley, they opened up their other half’s annoying lockdown pastimes.

The Queen’s granddaughter, 38, revealed that the former rugby captain, 41, had started enthusiastically playing golf on his phone.

Her revelation had been prompted by Richard and Judy’s daughter, 32, who complained that her husband – an ex-teammate of Mike’s – had been playing Xbox “all day”.

Zara was seen glancing knowingly at her other half, before adding: “It must be a gaming thing that rugby lads do.”

The couple are currently staying in the countryside with their young daughters

Zara elaborated: “He plays golf on his phone.”

Chloe said: “Tindall you can play golf, like real golf, outside.”

Princess Anne’s daughter then looked wide-eyed at the camera as Mike insisted: “No you can’t…the golf courses are closed.”

However, he got his own back at his equestrian wife – who has represented Great Britain in the Olympics – by revealing that we “need to get out of lockdown because I now know how to tack up a horse, and it is ridiculous”.

They joined a live conversation on Instagram with friends, couple James Haskell and Chloe Madeley, to raise money for charity

Their funny conversation was in aid of Sebastian’s Action Trust, which helps families of seriously-ill children.

The couple, who married in 2011, are currently living on the Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire with their two daughters, six-year-old Mia and one-year-old Lena.

It comes as Zara revealed that she gets “mum guilt” when she and Mike are away for work at the same time.

Speaking to Australian publication Now To Love in December, she said: “If I’m away and Mike’s here I don’t feel guilty, whereas if we’re both away then I feel much more guilty.”
