AFTER trying to convince his wife Sarah to build a family with him, Adam Barlow gets thrown into more important matters.
The Coronation Street solicitor is in desperate need of new clients and he may have found the perfect one.
Adam Barlow is thrown right back into business next week
He worries for the future of his firm
But he may be able to get himself a new client
Adam (portrayed by Sam Robertson) makes a shocking confession to his father Peter (Chris Gascoyne) and Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) in upcoming scenes of the Manchester-based program.
Months after the tragic death of his associate Imran Habeeb, Adam realises that the future of his firm may be in jeopardy.
He shares his worries about the business with Peter and Steve but can they help him in any way?
While this remains to be seen, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) later arrives at Barlow Legal Services, where she found herself a job following her decision to settle in Weatherfield.
However, she’s horrified to see a familiar and unexpected face as Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) comes back to the cobbles after his arrest.
But Damon isn’t here to cause trouble, in fact, he’s even chatting to Adam calmly in the solicitor’s office.
Dee-Dee is quick to tell Adam that Damon was the one to make Nick Tilsley’s life a misery at the Bistro and she orders him to sling his hook.
Adam has another idea as he realises that Damon may bring him the business his firm desperately needs.
He suggests they should take Damon on as a client as he’s in need of legal representation… and he’s also loaded.
Unfortunately, it may take Adam a lot of convincing to get Dee-Dee on board as she’s immediately appalled at the idea.
ITV viewers will most probably remember that Damon was arrested once Nick decided to make him face comeuppance for trafficking drugs in and out of the Bistro.
Damon has also struck against his own as he was responsible for his son Jacob’s quick departure from Weatherfield and his brother Harvey Gaskell’s brutal beating behind bars.
Yet Corries bosses have teased that Damon is in for a shocking romance with one of show’s main ladies in an upcoming storyline beginning in June, 2023.
