AGGIE Bailey is thrown when a familiar face rocks up the cobbles next week.
This prompts her to launch a dodgy plan with the help of Tim Metcalfe next week in Coronation Street.
Aggie Bailey is thrown back into the spotlight next week
She’s stunned when her old neighbours appear in the cobbles
She’s worried about what they may think of her life in Weatherfield
After being exposed for her emotional affair with Tim Metcalfe, Aggie Bailey (portrayed by Lorna Laidlaw) has been left on the side-lines and away from the spotlight.
But the beloved Weatherfield nurse gets a new storyline of her own next week on ITV.
It all begins when she goes out for a meal with her husband Ed (Trevor Michael Georges).
The pair are taken aback to bump into Patrick and Yvette, their old neighbours.
Soon enough, the shock vanishes and Aggie’s quietly fuming when Yvette insists they join them.
In later scenes, Ed explains to Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) that Aggie doesn’t want Yvette over for dinner as she’ll look down her nose when she sees where they live now.
Tim (Joe Duttine) decides to help his friend and suggests Aggie could borrow their house for the afternoon and pass it off as her own.
But will his wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) agree to help Aggie?
As mentioned above, Aggie and Tim were caught red-handed in late 2022 by their respective spouses as they carried on their friendship behind their backs.
The local cabbie had heavily relied on Aggie for support when he was facing serious health issues.
Tim had kept secrets from his wife while he told Aggie everything that was troubling him at the time.
Sally was hurt when she found out how close Tim had really been to Aggie and their marriage seemed headed straight for the rocks.
Ed, on the other hand, appeared more forgiving and the couple managed to overcome this obstacle.
But has Sally moved on herself?
Will Aggie’s plan work out for the best?
