JACK Branning has had a lot on his hands, particularly with his troubled daughter Amy Mitchell.
Things go from bad to worse for the copper next week in EastEnders when the teen vanishes.

The teen is determined to do anything to fix things between Jack and Denise
After being taken off the case against Ravi Gulati due to Chelsea Fox bond with the gangster, Jack Branning (portrayed by Scott Maslen) found out his wife Denise had also had a fling with the criminal.
This ultimately led to their marriage breaking down and Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) is having a hard time accepting the separation.
Amy was one of the first Walford residents to know all about Denise and Ravi but, despite her stepmother betraying Jack, she’s determined to fix everything between them.
In an attempt to push the couple back together, she secretly invites Denise (Diane Parish) to her counselling session with Jack.
How will her father react?
Later scenes of the BBC One soap will show Amy, Nugget and Denzel talking about the mess their parents have made, while Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) will step in to support the Brannings.
Her concerns touch Denise but has she really forgiven her mother?
While that remains to be seen, Chelsea tears a strip off Jack when he refuses to go to family therapy.
Matters only get more harrowing for the family when Amy disappears before her counselling session, leaving Jack and Denise worried.
Chelsea, once again, saves the day and finds Amy having a panic attack after taking her ‘Mum’ necklace to be fixed and getting held up.
The pair rush to join the rest of the Brannings at the therapist’s office, where an honest and deep conversation ensues.
Denise feels under attack by the comments made at her but the biggest shock remains when Ricky Jr. (Frankie Day) speaks up and says what he really thinks.
