EASTENDERS and On the Buses star Anna Karen, 85, died last night in a house fire in east London.
The 70s actress, who found fame for her role as Olive in the TV sitcom based around the number 11 bus, died in the blaze at her home in Ilford
The star had an incredible CV of acting credits including appearances in the Carry On films and a string of pantomimes.
Three fire engines and around 20 firefighters rushed to the blaze at 10.20pm last night.
Despite their best efforts, Anna died at the scene.
