FORMER Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley showcased her sensational figure as she relaxed in her hot tub in a new Instagram post.

The actress, 37, slipped into a triangle-style bikini and left her brunette hair in a sleek, straight style as she relaxed in her back garden.

The actress shared several shots of her enjoying her family’s new inflatable hot tub

However, the stunning star hilariously revealed that it isn’t always relaxing in her inflatable hot tub as she shared a shot of her son Alfie excitedly jumping into the hot tub.

Raving about her new home amenity provided by Spa Dayz Cheshire, she penned: “Swipe for Insta vs Reality 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️.

“We love our summer nights (even in the rain!) we’ve made the most of it this year and the hot tub has been a welcome addition!”

Catherine went on to shout out the company and explained that the brains behind it were furloughed airline pilots “who were keen to bring the holiday feeling to people if they couldn’t take them on holiday themselves”.

She rounded off her post and wrote: “It does feel like you’re on your holibobs! I just need a Pina Colada! #hottub #staycation #homecation  #homehottub”.

And while many were impressed with the hot tub, Catherine’s followers couldn’t help but comment on her sensational bikini display.

Actor Marco Robinson penned: “Hot tub model”.

“Fabulous 🔥😍🔥,” a fan simply wrote.

A third commented: “Stunning x” while Catherine’s former Corrie co-star Samia Longchambon shared: “♥🤗 I’ll be round soon! 💦😆”.

FITNESS FAN

Elsewhere, Catherine recently joked on her Instagram stories via a meme that “the internet” often comes after her when she says “diet is related to immune system health”.

It comes after she overhauled her diet and lifestyle and lost 6st, going from a size 22 to a 10 more than a decade ago.

“I have to work really hard to stay a smaller size. Being strong and healthy and maintaining the size I want to be doesn’t come easy to me, I really have to graft for it,” she told HOAR in April.

The Corrie darling competed in Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, followed by a gruelling tour for the reality dancing competition.

She told HOAR the turning point for her fitness journey came during a basic jazz workshop when she couldn’t keep up, was “the colour of a beetroot” and the dance teacher compared her to an Oompa-Loompa.

“That stays with you, but it was the wake-up call I needed. Being in a musical is like being an athlete – you’re doing eight shows a week and you have to be fit and healthy.

“It’s the same in TV – the schedules are so fast and if you’re off for the day they lose thousands of pounds, so being fit is hugely important for me and my career.

“But since becoming a mum [in 2015, to Alfie, now six], the main thing is just making sure that I’m on the planet for as long as possible, because I want to watch him grow up. I don’t want to miss anything. I want to be able to keep up with him when he’s running around like a maniac.”

She added: “And I know how hard it is, I’ve been there myself, but this last year should be a warning to us all to try to be as healthy as we can be. It’s not about being stick thin, it’s about being strong and healthy, eating a balanced diet and staying active.

“I don’t profess to know everything in nutrition, I’m learning all of the time – but now, more than ever, the government needs to look at that really seriously.”
