CELEBRITY X Factor star Jonny Labey and former Ben Mitchell actor Harry Reid have opened up about filming steamy sex scenes together.

The pair played lovers in EastEnders between 2015 and 2016, with 26-year-old Jonny cast as Ben’s first ever love, Paul Coker.

Harry, 27, was the fifth actor to take on the part of Phil Mitchell’s bad boy son, and was gutted earlier this year when the role was recast to Max Bowden.

But fans remain obsessed with the Ben and Paul love story, with fan accounts even creating video montages of the pair onscreen together.

Earlier this week, Jonny shared one of the clips to his Twitter page, writing: “Got tagged in this and the memories came FLOODING back!

“Thank you ‘Ben & Paul’ for this selection of scenes!”

He added: “@HarryReid16 we done good!” alongside a heart emoji.

Appearing playful, Harry quickly replied: “I knew chewing your face off was worth the time” and a kiss face emoji.

To which Jonny joked: “Let’s not forget who was in charge” and a smirking face.

Needless to say fans were thrilled by the exchange, with one replying: “You both had fantastic chemistry.. Wish it was a longer time together”.

Paul was Ben’s first love

Another wrote: “Wish you were both still in EastEnders, its just not the same now”.

A third said: “I’m not crying, you’re crying! I miss Ben and Paul, my heart hurt watching this.”

Ben and Paul shared many memorable moments together – including Ben realising that he is gay after falling in love with the curly-haired hunk.

They also shocked fans when they got down and dirty in a funeral parlour, which was run by Paul’s grandfather Les.

Paul was brutally killed off in 2016

Unfortunately, their gripping love story came to a devastating end when exec producer Sean O’Connor joined the soap in 2016 – deciding to kill Paul off in a tragic and brutal homophobic attack.

Despite being axed three years ago, Paul still remains a huge part of EastEnders today and fans were heartbroken earlier this year when Ben revealed that he is still grieving for his late love.

The East End bad boy, now played by Max, was found curled up in Paul’s old bedroom as Whitney and Halfway threw a housewarming party after buying the Coker family’s old flat in June.

Ben left fans heartbroken earlier this year when he broke down over Paul’s death

Sobbing as he clutched a pillow to his chest, Ben told Halfway: “This was his room. I had my first time in here, we spent our first proper night together in here.

“I haven’t done that since… Just sleep and hold.

“I didn’t meant to fall in love with Paul, I didn’t want to fall in love with blokes at all, but it don’t work like that.”

Jonny wowed with his audition on X Factor: Celebrity

Meanwhile, Jonny’s real life is going from strength to strength having landed a spot in the X Factor: Celebrity live shows after wowing Simon Cowell and the judges during the auditions.

In fact, Jonny made such an impression on stage he ended up performing an impromptu duet with Grammy-winner David Foster – blowing viewers at home away.
