Vanessa – played by Michelle Hardwick – has almost hit rock bottom after losing her dad Frank in the devastating factory fire.
And things are set to worsen when scheming Mandy Dingle drops a bombshell about Charitys dodgy dealings in the shocking casino heist.
Fans will see Charity face an ultimatum from Vanessa to be honest about fraudulently winning money from the casino.
But Charity is reluctant to admit the truth – leaving Charity with no choice but to end their relationship.
Shockwaves will spread through the rest of the Dingle family in the wake of the dumping as both characters struggle to cope without the other.
Emmerdale bosses havent yet revealed if this will be the end of the couple, but fans will be finding out in the coming weeks.
How long have the Emmerdale couple been together?
Charity and Vanessa shared their first steamy kiss back in October, 2017 after they found themselves locked in the pub cellar.
After months of inner turmoil, Vanessa finally gave into her feelings for Charity at the start of 2018.
Vanessa said: “I like you Charity, I like you a lot but that’s as far as it goes.”
Charity told her: “I can’t make any promises, I can’t even promise I won’t hurt you in the end but up until that point I will rock your world if you let me”.
And it seemed the two were in it for the long haul after they got engaged earlier this year, with Charity hijacking a millionaire’s proposal.
Emmerdale fans have fallen in love with the couple and took to Twitter to express their dismay over the shock split.
